Description: Napoleonic Battles in the Peninsula is a solo book-game set during the battles of the Peninsular War. It offers 20 battles to play solo, which you can enjoy while commanding the troops of each faction, alongside the Spanish, Portuguese, and British allies against the French.

• Solo and 1 vs 1 play: You can play the Battle of Talavera as Sir Arthur Wellesley or Marshal Soult, or face off in 1 vs 1 using the same rules with a small adjustment in the battle setup.
• Maps and scenarios: Each scenario includes a hex-grid map and deployment instructions for both the player’s units and the AI.
• Unit types: Infantry, Cavalry, Commander, and Artillery, each with their own characteristics and combat strength.
• Terrain and combat: Terrain affects combat, modifying the number of dice rolled. Includes a simple line-of-sight system.
• AI management: Very streamlined; each scenario indicates where units deploy and how they behave according to their type.
