Euro 4000 locomotives, manufactured by Vossloh, were presented in 2006. There are many private companies that have incorporated these machines, especially for freight transport. The company Europorte acquired a total of 12 units in 2011, routinely circulating for railway lines in France, and neighboring countries, such us Germany, Belgium, etc. At present Europorte has up to 40 Euro 4000 locomotives in service.
