RG 1/144 Akatsuki Gundam Oowashi Unit - Gunpla. BANDAI MK67396

RG 1/144 Akatsuki Gundam Oowashi Product Contents

Build the ORB-01 Akatsuki Gundam in 1/144 scale with this Real Grade (RG) Bandai Gunpla model kit. Based on Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY, this release includes the atmospheric pack Oowashi Pack and recreates the suit's signature gold plating.

Assembly Guide

This product comes as a 1/144 scale plastic model kit to assemble following the included instruction manual. The RG internal frame features multiple articulation joints and moving armor gimmicks to achieve dynamic combat poses and highlight the suit's striking presence.

The Oowashi Pack can deploy its nosecone, hatch, and beam cannons, while its dual wings articulate independently for custom positioning when docked onto the main Gundam frame.

Building Experience

The RG 1/144 Akatsuki Gundam Oowashi stands out for its exceptional exterior finish. Bandai utilizes three distinct types of gold plating alongside faceted surface molding to maximize light reflection, capturing the mirror-like shine of the Yata-no-Kagami defensive coating system.

The build incorporates synchronized movement mechanisms across the shoulders, hips, torso, and limb armor. Additionally, functional thruster gimmicks are integrated into the upper shoulders and outer leg armor to expand display possibilities.
