While the megacorporations prepare to begin the terraforming process, you have had the opportunity to make some early choices that will define your corporation and shape the future history of Mars: this is the prelude to your greatest achievements!

Terraforming Mars: Prelude is an expansion that will allow you to catapult your terraforming. It focuses on the early stages of Mars colonization and tells the story of the corporations' past.

When choosing a corporation and an initial hand of cards, each player will also draw 4 Prelude cards, from which they will select 2: advancing some global parameters or adding improvements to their corporation engine. This expansion opens the door to powerful opening combos and increases asymmetry among players.

It also includes 7 project cards that thematically fit the early stages of terraforming. Prelude can be combined with any other expansions or variants, and can be used with the base game on its own.
