The galaxy has enjoyed peace for many years. After the ruthless Terran-Hegemony War (30,027–33,364), all major space civilizations made enormous efforts to prevent such terrible events from happening again. To safeguard the precious peace, the Galactic Council was established, carrying out courageous initiatives to prevent the escalation of malicious acts.

However, tension and discord are growing among the seven great species and within the Council itself. Old alliances are breaking, and new diplomatic treaties are secretly being signed. Confrontation between the superpowers seems inevitable: only the outcome of the galactic conflict remains to be determined. Which faction will rise to victory and dominate the galaxy?

The shadows of the great civilizations are about to eclipse the galaxy. Lead your people to victory!

In Eclipse, you command a vast interstellar civilization competing with rivals for control of the galaxy.

In each round, you will expand your civilization by exploring and colonizing new sectors, researching technologies, and building spaceships for war. After 8 rounds, the game ends, and the player with the most Victory Points (VP) wins.

VPs are earned through battles, establishing diplomatic relations, controlling sectors, controlling monoliths, making discoveries, and researching technologies.

There are many paths to victory, so you must plan your strategy according to the strengths and weaknesses of your species and keep an eye on the development of other civilizations!
