Waffen-SS Panther Kampfgruppe is a German Starter Force box for Flames of War, the World War II miniatures wargame. These Starter Force sets are designed to provide a straightforward entry into the hobby with a complete, playable army that you can assemble, paint, and take to the gaming table.

This force combines Panther and Tiger tanks, Puma armored cars, Sd Kfz 250 half-tracks, 8.8cm heavy anti-tank guns, and an armored Panzergrenadier infantry platoon. This balance of heavy armor, recon elements, and mobile infantry offers versatile options for organizing your battle group to dominate late-war engagements.

The box also comes complete with the full A5 Flames of War rulebook, a dedicated Waffen-SS quick-start guide, decal sheets, and unit cards to field your troops right away.

How to Use Waffen-SS Panther Kampfgruppe

In Flames of War, coordinating different unit types and leveraging their complementary roles is key to executing a winning strategy. Panther and Tiger tanks deliver immense armor and firepower, while Puma vehicles provide crucial reconnaissance, and half-tracks transport your infantry to capture key objectives.

The 8.8cm guns add formidable long-range anti-tank support to deny enemy armor advance routes. The key to victory lies in combined arms play—using terrain effectively and knowing when to hold key chokepoints or concentrate firepower into a decisive armored thrust.

The included "Start Here" booklet helps you organize your force and learn the basics, while the full A5 rulebook gives you complete access to the deeper tactical rules of Flames of War.
