Flames of War: Churchill Armoured Troop - British World War II tank miniatures. BATTLE FRONT BBX56

Churchill Armoured Troop Product Contents

The Churchill Armoured Troop by Battlefront Miniatures brings one of the most iconic British infantry tanks of World War II to your Flames of War tabletop army. Purpose-built to advance directly alongside foot soldiers and absorb incoming fire thanks to its exceptionally thick armor, the Churchill is an unbeatable heavy support option for British commanders taking on fortified positions.

The Churchill Tank in Flames of War

Conceived strictly under British infantry tank doctrine, the Churchill was designed to traverse shell-cratered terrain, push through obstacles, and eliminate entrenched enemy positions impeding the foot soldiers' advance. Its heavy frontal armor enabled it to withstand direct hits that would destroy lighter armored vehicles.

Throughout the European campaign, British commanders deployed Churchill regiments to spearhead attacks against stubborn Axis strongpoints. In Flames of War, this troop captures that exact tactical doctrine, adding resilient, high-armor heavy support vehicles to your order of battle.

Gameplay Experience and Tactical Applications

Churchill tanks are an exceptional addition to British lists that rely on methodical, infantry-led advances under the protection of heavy steel. Fielding them allows you to replicate authentic combined-arms tactics, using your Churchills as mobile shields to screen softer targets and suppress anti-tank gun nests.

For historical hobbyists and scale modelers, these classic British heavy tanks offer fantastic detailing and iconic silhouettes, making them a standout centerpiece for any World War II collection or Northwest Europe gaming table.
