StarCraft: Roach - Zerg Miniatures Expansion. ARCHON

StarCraft Roach Product Contents

StarCraft Roach is an expansion for the StarCraft Tabletop Miniatures Game that introduces one of the Zerg army's most resilient assault units. Protected by thick chitinous armor and endowed with rapid regeneration, Roaches serve as formidable front-line shock troops for the Swarm.

This box includes 3 Roach miniatures and 3 Roachling miniatures, alongside the necessary cards and tokens to integrate them into your matches. Evolution variants further expand the tactical utility of these units, allowing Zerg commanders to adapt to various combat scenarios.

How to Play

The Roach joins Zerg armies in the StarCraft Tabletop Miniatures Game as a durable unit capable of absorbing heavy fire while pushing relentlessly toward enemy lines.

One of its signature tactical features is the Burrow ability, enabling underground maneuvering to launch surprise attacks from unexpected angles. Mastering subterranean movement allows you to catch opponents off guard and break through defensive perimeters.

The pack also features Roachlings, offering additional deployment options and tactical synergy. The included unit and tactical cards seamlessly incorporate all Roach variants and special abilities into the core game system.

As a faction expansion, you will need the core StarCraft Tabletop Miniatures Game rules and a Zerg army base to play these miniatures.

Gameplay Experience

StarCraft Roach provides the Zerg Swarm with a potent mix of durability, offensive power, and versatile positioning. Roaches excel at grinding down enemy defenses and drawing fire away from fragile damage-dealers.

Their Burrow mechanics add dynamic strategic depth. Rather than executing a simple direct charge, Roaches can bypass terrain obstacles and execute devastating flank attacks from beneath the earth.

The included evolution paths allow commanders to tailor these creatures to fit specific list strategies, making this expansion a highly flexible addition to any Zerg roster.

Beyond competitive tabletop utility, the Roach is an iconic staple of Zerg lore, making this set a must-have for StarCraft fans seeking to build out a complete Swarm collection.
