Since their creation, the Sentinels have been programmed to hunt down mutants. However, like their prey, they have also evolved over time.

Omega Sentinel, Bastion, and Nimrod are no longer simple machines without consciousness. They now possess their own schemes, strategies, and intentions, directed both against mutants and against humanity itself.

Although these are the most effective Sentinels ever created, their evolution raises a troubling threat: humanity itself could become a target of the Sentinel protocol.
