Description - Switch decoder LS150.

Switch decoder LS150. Up to six points, signals etc. can be connected to the switch decoder LS150. The switch decoder requires a separate power supply, preferably a transformer TR100. This means that AC is applied to the outputs. The maximum load is 3A.

Digital switching works just like digital driving: Switch decoders receive relevant information via the same two-wire line that feeds the tracks. Having received this information, switch decoders address points and signals as well as lights and LEDs in light signals.

Switch decoders always serve to switch something on or off. Each decoder has several outputs to connect points. Each output has its own address, just like a locomotive decoder. The programming mode is initiated via a push-button. Programming is also possible on the track. Output features can be set individually, depending on how points or signals are used. The period during which an output remains active after activation can be set. This feature is particularly useful for motorised point drives. Another possibility is flashing operation. The flashing frequency is programmable. This means that warning crosses at level crossings do not require separate electronics.
