Description
The IMAM Ro.43 was an Italian catapult-launched reconnaissance floatplane of mixed biplane construction. It was powered by a single Piaggio P.X R radial engine producing 700 hp. The prototype made its maiden flight in 1934, and serial production ran from 1935 to 1941, with approximately 190 units built. For armament, the aircraft was equipped with two 7.7 mm Breda-SAFAT machine guns.
