The M3 Lee were the main armored army of the US army to face the German Panzer during the first part of World War II. For its development, the M2 was used as a base, incorporating a 75mm main gun and a 37mm secondary gun on a higher level. In addition, it equipped a 7.62mm machine gun on the upper turret, resulting in its characteristic shape on three levels.
