Herbicide train set from MDE. MFTrain N71023

Herbicide train set from MDE, consisting of two tanker cars for water storage that will be mixed with herbicidal liquid, and a 60-foot platform with containers housing a control room and engines for spraying and dispersing the chemical product.

MDE's (Station Maintenance S.L.) herbicide train is used for the elimination of any vegetation that may invade the space where trains circulate, as well as to prevent the growth of plants whose roots could shift the terrain and destabilize the train tracks. With the train in motion and at a maximum speed of 60 km/h, the chemical product is dispersed from the containers to eliminate weeds. This work is carried out along different sections of the railway lines managed by ADIF. MDE's herbicide train (as presented in this set N71023) has traveled on various lines of the Spanish railway network during the spring campaigns from 2015 to the fall of 2016.

Therefore, it is a composition purely from Era VI.
