Terrible creatures from beyond time and space threaten the city of Arkham. The players must join forces to prevent its imminent descent into madness and destruction. If no action is taken, these ancient and malevolent beings will awaken, devastating not only Arkham but the rest of our world as well.

Arkham Horror is a cooperative game. All players work together and either win or lose as a team. Each player controls a daring investigator, one of the few exceptional individuals aware of the looming danger threatening our world. The investigators must explore the city to uncover locations, people, and creatures of both ordinary and supernatural nature. With luck, throughout this journey the investigators will gather the clues and resources needed to confront the Ancient Ones and, ultimately, thwart their wicked schemes.
