The Guest. DEVIR

In The Guest, players take on the roles of the crew of the extrasolar ship *Beagle*, which has been attacked by a strange parasite that lodges in people’s brains, taking control of their will. It’s a hidden role game where tension runs high with every vote. Some players will be infected crew members trying to infect or eliminate the others, while the rest will be healthy crew members attempting to reach the Aurora space station safely.

Designed by Arkaitz Caride and illustrated by Rubén Vila Suárez, The Guest can be played in large groups of 5 to 12 players, ages 8 and up, with games lasting about 30 minutes. In this hidden role game, players’ goal is to survive—either by being the last one standing or by eliminating the opposing team.

At the start of the game, there are two sides: healthy crew members and those infected by the guests. Each team’s goal is to eliminate the members of the opposing team, but no one knows who the infected crew are. However, be careful—a third faction may appear if someone loses their sanity.

Throughout the game, crew members will play cards with different powers and effects to try to uncover the identity of the other players. Among the deck are also voting cards, which trigger a special phase where players vote on whether to eject someone from the ship. Some cards can alter these votes, so you never know what might happen.
