Designed by Nigel Buckle and Dávid Turczi, Imperium: Horizons is a game that can be enjoyed solo or with up to 4 players, ages 14 and up, in sessions lasting about two hours. This edition is fully standalone and independent of previous editions (Classics and Legendaries).

Horizons includes the Abbasid, Aksumite, Cultist, Gupta, Inuit, Japanese, Magyar, Martian, Maya, Polynesian, Sassanid, Taíno, Tang, and Wagadou civilizations. Each one represents a unique and challenging opponent, both in multiplayer and solo play.
