Carcassonne: Vineyards & Sheep is an expansion where animals and vineyards bring the landscape to life. Let your shepherds herd the geese and grow their flocks of sheep to earn more points. But don’t take too many risks, because if a wolf appears, your sheep will scatter. Game contents Carcassonne: Vineyards & Sheep The Vineyards & Sheep box includes 19 new vineyard tiles, which increase the value of monasteries and gardens. It also includes six shepherd pawns (one per player, each in a different color); shepherds earn points based on the size of their flock, and if there are geese nearby, their score will be even higher. Additionally, the expansion comes with a cloth bag and 18 tokens (16 flock tokens and 2 wolf tokens). The bag introduces an element of risk: the more flock tokens you draw, the more points your shepherd earns, but if a wolf appears, you lose all your sheep. Vineyards & Sheep requires the Carcassonne base game to play, but is fully compatible with the other expansions. Essential for fans of Klaus-Jürgen Wrede’s classic tile-placement game, this expansion adds a touch of luck with the opaque bag and tokens, while also increasing the strategic value of monasteries.
