Observe a random section of the sky and you’ll discover a million galaxies, each with billions of stars. Some of those stars have planets; some planets could host life; and life could become intelligent. This means that wherever you point your telescope, someone might be watching you too.

SETI (short for Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) is a game of exploration and discovery. You know extraterrestrial life exists; you just have to find it. By wisely managing limited resources, you’ll launch probes, explore planets, listen to the stars, and advance science. Each player controls a space exploration agency, leveraging technologies and techniques inspired by the real world to unravel some of humanity’s greatest mysteries.

Designed by Tomáš Holek (creator of Tea Garden and Galileo Galilei), SETI is an expert-level eurogame suitable for solo play or groups of up to 4 players aged 14 and up. Over 5 rounds, players aim to accumulate the most victory points through strategic actions while interacting with the extraterrestrial life they discover.

Each turn, a player may perform one main action and as many free actions as desired. Main actions include launching probes, orbiting a planet, landing on planets or moons, tracking nearby stars, analyzing data, or researching technologies. Throughout the game, the solar system rotates, changing the positions of probes and tracking possibilities. Midway through the game, up to two alien lifeforms are revealed, introducing new rules and opportunities for points. With multiple species included in the box, each session is a unique discovery experience.
