Adventurers, it’s time to return to Arzium!

In Now or Never, you and up to three other players compete to see who is best at rebuilding your ancestral village and guiding the other villagers on their journey back home. You’ll have to face fearsome creatures to protect the villagers who have set out on the road, and improve your equipment and abilities to overcome the challenges you encounter along the way.

After Above and Below and Near and Far, Now or Never is the third game in the adventure series set in Arzium. This competitive strategy game offers two game modes: standard and narrative. You will always choose one of the four available heroes and step into their shoes, and when playing the narrative mode, you’ll discover their unique story through several campaign scenarios. Designed and illustrated by Ryan Laukat, Now or Never can be enjoyed solo or with groups of up to 4 players, ages 13 and up, in games of about 45 minutes per participant.

The goal of the game is to earn as many victory points as possible over 6 rounds or seasons by rebuilding the ancestral home of the Monument and sheltering lost villagers. In each round, players will use the help of their specialists to perform certain actions or move across the map shown on the central board to explore, visit locations, or confront terrifying monsters. Little by little, they will build areas of the city using a tile-placement mechanic, gain resources, and upgrade their equipment and abilities to face even greater challenges.

Additionally, Now or Never includes an alternate scenario, the underworld, available on the reverse side of the central board, with new enemies and exploration areas. And for solo-play lovers, the game includes specific cards and rules to control a bot that will challenge even the boldest adventurers. Whether you’ve played previous titles in the saga or this is your first time in Arzium, Now or Never offers plenty of adventure and fun in the box. Thanks to its different game modes and the large number of components it includes, no two games will be alike.
