Top Ten: Cooperative Party Game - Board Game. ASMODEE

Top Ten Board Game Product Contents

Top Ten is a hilarious, award-winning cooperative party board game designed by Aurélien Picolet. Players must respond to creative thematic prompts based on a secret number from 1 to 10, leaving the Captain to guess and correctly order all player responses from lowest to highest.

Packed with 500 varied themes, Top Ten delivers endless replay value filled with surprising improvisations, absurd scenarios, and memorable party moments that test how well you know your group's train of thought.

How to Play

In each round of Top Ten, every player secretly receives a card numbered between 1 and 10. The active player (the Captain) draws a theme card and reads it aloud to the table.

Players must quickly invent a response—a word, phrase, gesture, or sound effect—that corresponds to their hidden number. A player with a 1 must provide the lowest or worst extreme of the scale, while a player holding a 10 must portray the highest or best. Intermediate numbers require nuanced answers fitting somewhere in between.

Once everyone responds, the Captain must rank all answers in ascending order. For every mistake made during ranking, a token moves from the team's Unicorn pile to the Poo pile. The team wins if they complete five rounds with tokens remaining in the Unicorn pile.

Gameplay & Party Experience

Top Ten is a purely social experience where humor emerges naturally from comparing everyone's subjective answers. There are no static right answers—success depends on tuning your response to fit your secret intensity level.

Table communication and group dynamics make every round unpredictable. What one player considers a 3 might sound like a 7 to the Captain, leading to playful debates and laughter as answers are revealed.

As a cooperative party game, Top Ten focuses on shared team success rather than cutthroat rivalry, making it an incredible icebreaker for players of all skill levels.
