Cascadia: Rolling Rivers - nature board game. DELIRIUM GAMES

Product contents Cascadia: Rolling Rivers

Cascadia: Rolling Rivers is a captivating standalone flip-and-roll-and-write entry set in the rich, thriving wilderness of North America's Pacific Northwest. Following in the footsteps of the acclaimed Cascadia universe, this title shifts the ecosystem and wildlife management toward a dynamic strategic challenge focused on river flows and aquatic life.

In this edition, players must design and connect intricate watersheds, crystal-clear streams, and lush riparian forests. By combining custom dice rolls with terrain-drafting mechanics, your goal is to chart the finest river courses to guide salmon, attract ospreys, and ensure that every species finds its ideal habitat across the territory.

How to play Cascadia: Rolling Rivers

The game unfolds through simultaneous, highly interactive turns where spatial planning and resource optimization are essential to victory. Each round, players use the dice outcomes to trace river lines on their personal player sheets, connecting different landscape types and fulfilling strict topographical patterns.

As you extend water currents and complete terrain regions, you can mark off wildlife tokens and trigger special bonuses. Wisely utilizing pinecone tokens to manipulate dice results and chain actions together allows you to optimize your riverways and maximize your end-game score.

Tactical variety and replayability

The core strength of Cascadia: Rolling Rivers lies in the flexibility of its components and its immense replayability. Thanks to diverse wildlife scoring cards, variable environment sheets, and modular rules, every game presents a completely unique strategic puzzle.

Furthermore, this standalone title can be enjoyed on its own or combined with sister games in the series (such as Cascadia: Rolling Hills) to expand multiplayer options and deliver deeply engaging solo challenges.
