In Mice and Mystics (Of Mice and Magic), players take on the role of heroes loyal to the king who, to escape the clutches of Vanestra, have been transformed into mice. They must traverse the castle, now twenty times larger and full of dangers.

The castle would already be a threat with Vanestra's minions, but even greater dangers await such tiny heroes. Play as the cunning Prince Collin, the mighty blacksmith Nez Bellows, the wise old mage Maginos, or the protective Tilda. Each character has a vital role in the adventure, requiring careful planning to uncover Vanestra's weakness and defeat her.

Mice and Mystics is a cooperative adventure game in which players collaborate to save a kingdom in peril. They face rats, cockroaches, spiders, and the greatest horror of all: Brodie, the castle cat.

The game features an interactive story divided into 12 chapters. Thanks to the Cheese System, players can enhance their mice with new and powerful abilities. The game supports up to 6 players, though most adventures are designed for 1 to 4 players. One player may also act as a narrator, especially recommended for first-time games.

Mice and Mystics is ideal for introducing younger players to the world of board games, recommended for ages 7 and up.
