Clash of Steel

Clash of Steel: Armored Combat Wargames

Clash of Steel is a wargame by Battlefront and Gale Force Nine focused on armored vehicle combat and creating dynamic tabletop engagements. Its game system is designed for fast-paced, cinematic matches, featuring objective-based missions that ensure every battle unfolds differently.

The range utilizes 1:100 scale (15 mm) miniatures and brings together tanks and units from different forces, with a special emphasis on tank-on-tank combat. It is a particularly engaging pick for fans of miniature wargames, military vehicles, and armored warfare.

An Alternate History for Your Battles

Clash of Steel posits an alternate history setting in which global conflict once again pits major superpowers against one another. This setting allows players to field forces from various nations in scenarios that branch off real-world history into an entirely new war.

The initial range features German, British, American, and Soviet forces, while newer releases expand the Clash of Steel universe into the post-World War II years and the massive main battle tanks of the Cold War.

Clash of Steel Miniatures and Forces

In this category, you will find Battlefront's Clash of Steel miniatures, units, and forces, featuring vehicles designed to build your armies and expand your tactical possibilities. Models are supplied unassembled and unpainted, making them a core part of the scale modeling and miniature painting experience.

The 15 mm scale allows players to field multiple vehicles on the table while maintaining strong visual impact. Furthermore, the range's close ties to other Battlefront lines make it easy to repurpose miniatures and expand your collection.

Clash of Steel and Battlefront

Battlefront is a cornerstone in military miniature wargaming, widely renowned for Flames of War and its extensive lines of military vehicles and infantry. Clash of Steel shares much of that miniature ecosystem while delivering an alternative focused squarely on armored combat and dynamic gameplay.

If you are looking for a tank wargame featuring detailed miniatures, superpower clashes, and an alternate history setting, Clash of Steel is a compelling addition to our selection of wargames and miniatures.
