Queda polarizado el corazon,util en locomotoras pequeñas con lo cual no pierden el contacto,la desventaja es si no te das cuenta de orientar el desvio en la via deseada se produce cortocircuito

¿ES NORMAL QUE NO TENGA CORRIENTE ELÉCTRICA, UNA VEZ DE POLARIZARLO? ¿FUNCIONAN SOLAMENTE Ó ES NECESARIO CONTROLAR LAS AGUJAS DEL CAMBIO DEL DESVÍO, CON UN PUPITRE INTERRUMPOR, QUE SE DEBE ACCIONAR PARA DARLE SUMINISTRO ELÉCTRICO A LA VÍA AUXILIAR? GRACIAS

Polarizar el corazón implica que los railes del corazón reciben la corriente de acuerdo con la posición del desvío. Para ello hay diferentes opciones. Se puede vincular con un conmutador unido al motor, emplear sistemas automáticos de autopolarización, etc. Puede incluso hacerse en desvíos que se accionan manualmente mediante microrruptores o sistemas similares.
